BiteWorld Ltd — Net Zero Commitment

BiteWorld Ltd is committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045 at the latest, in line with the NHS target for the emissions it can influence.

As a small, largely digital education and healthcare innovation business, most of our impact comes from staff and faculty travel, events, office energy and the digital services we use. We will:

  • measure our emissions, starting with our first baseline year, and publish a carbon reduction plan;
  • deliver teaching, faculty meetings and project work online by default, and choose rail over air for UK travel where practical;
  • choose venues, suppliers and digital services that have their own net zero or carbon reduction commitments;
  • reduce printed materials and waste across our programmes and events;
  • build sustainability and planetary health into the education we design where it is relevant;
  • review progress every year and update this commitment.
